"Services" means any current or future offering of the Company, including but not limited to career consulting, resume development, ATS resume optimization, LinkedIn profile optimization, cover letter writing, resume marketing, job search assistance, interview preparation, career coaching, employment documentation assistance, professional training programs (live or recorded), digital learning materials, and career mentorship. "Digital Products" means downloadable templates, guides, recorded classes, worksheets, presentations, or other digital material provided by the Company.
3. Eligibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the legal consent of a parent or guardian), possess the legal authority to enter a binding agreement, and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful. You agree to promptly notify us of any change to that information. The Company may refuse or discontinue Services where false, misleading, or incomplete information is provided.
4. Nature of Our Services
SkillsBridge Advisory is an independent career consulting and professional development company. Our Services are educational and advisory in nature. We do not act as: an employer; a staffing or recruitment agency; an immigration law firm or legal services provider; a financial advisor; a government agency; or an accredited educational institution, unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific program. Guidance, coaching, templates, and advice provided are intended solely to help Clients improve their own job search strategy and professional presentation — final employment and career decisions remain the Client's own.
5. Description of Services
Depending on the package purchased, our Services may include:
- Career consulting and career strategy planning
- Technical and domain training / skill development (live and recorded)
- Resume writing, redesign, and ATS optimization
- LinkedIn profile optimization
- Cover letter writing
- Resume/profile marketing to relevant employer and recruiting channels
- Job search guidance and strategy
- Interview preparation, including mock interviews
- Placement support throughout the job search process
- Employment documentation assistance
- STEM OPT-related support, where applicable
Clients we work with include U.S. Citizens, Green Card / GC EAD holders, H-1B, H-4 EAD, L-2 EAD, OPT/STEM OPT, CPT, and other legally work-authorized individuals across IT and non-IT professional roles. The exact scope of Services depends on the specific package purchased.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Our Services are designed to improve your professional profile and job search effectiveness. Unless a specific package expressly and in writing states otherwise, SkillsBridge Advisory does not guarantee any outcome, including but not limited to: employment, job placement, interviews, job offers, promotions, salary levels, a specific employer or job title, recruiter or employer responses, offer letters, or any visa, work-authorization, or immigration approval or benefit (including OPT, STEM OPT, H-1B, or Green Card sponsorship).
Employment decisions are made solely by employers and depend on factors outside our control, including market conditions, employer preferences, and individual qualifications. No verbal statement, marketing material, website content, or social media post shall be interpreted as a guarantee of employment or career outcome.
7. Client Responsibilities & Representations
The effectiveness of our Services depends significantly on your participation. You agree to provide accurate information, submit requested documents on time, attend scheduled sessions, review completed documents carefully, notify us of corrections before final approval, and communicate professionally with our team, recruiters, and employers. Failure to actively participate may affect your results, and the Company is not responsible for outcomes resulting from incomplete participation or a failure to follow our recommendations.
You represent and warrant that all educational qualifications, employment history, certifications, experience, and references you provide are genuine, accurate, and truthful, and that you have legal authorization to use all documents you submit to us. We prepare documents based solely on the information you provide and do not independently verify your education, employment history, certifications, or immigration status. Any consequence arising from inaccurate or misleading information you provide remains your responsibility.
8. Service Delivery & Timelines
Upon purchase, the Company initiates onboarding, which may involve questionnaires, document submission, and consultation scheduling. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, resume-related services generally commence within approximately 10 business days; training and consultation timelines are communicated separately. All timelines are estimates only and may be extended due to Client delays, revision requests, incomplete information, or operational circumstances, and such delays do not by themselves entitle the Client to cancellation or refund.
9. Revision Policy
The Company provides up to two (2) complimentary revisions per professionally prepared document, unless the purchased package states otherwise. A revision includes minor wording changes, formatting adjustments, grammar corrections, and small content updates based on information already provided. It does not include a change of career path or industry, a full rewrite for a new role, or a significant addition of new experience — such requests may be treated and charged as a new service. Revision requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days of delivery; requests after this period may incur an additional fee. Failure to request revisions within this period constitutes acceptance of the completed work.
10. Payment Terms
Full payment, or the agreed initial installment, must be received before Services commence. Accepted payment methods may include Stripe, ACH bank transfer, credit card, or other methods approved by the Company. You are responsible for all applicable fees, taxes, and payment processing charges. The Company may suspend Services for any unpaid balance.
Where an installment plan is approved, installments represent payment toward the total agreed service price and are not a recurring subscription; you remain responsible for the full agreed amount regardless of installment status. Failure to complete installment payments may result in suspension or termination of Services without eliminating the outstanding payment obligation.
11. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because our Services involve personalized consulting, training, and document preparation, the following applies unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law:
- Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work is considered commenced when onboarding begins, an intake form or questionnaire is issued, a consultation is scheduled or conducted, resume review begins, training access is granted, or document preparation begins.
- If cancellation is requested before any work has commenced, the Company may, at its discretion, issue a full refund, a partial refund net of payment processing and administrative costs, or a service credit.
- Live training fees are generally non-refundable after enrollment; recorded classes and digital resources (PDFs, templates, worksheets, guides) are non-refundable once access or delivery has occurred.
- Cancellation of future Services must be requested in writing and does not, by itself, eliminate payment obligations for work already performed.
12. Service Pause & Reactivation
Clients may request one (1) service pause of up to 30 calendar days, unless otherwise approved in writing. During a pause, delivery timelines stop and appointments may be rescheduled. If a Service remains paused beyond the approved period, the Company may close the project, archive Client materials, and require updated intake information and/or a reactivation fee before resuming — with no guarantee of immediate availability upon reactivation.
13. No-Show & Rescheduling
A "no-show" occurs when a Client fails to attend a scheduled appointment or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. Each purchased Service includes a maximum of two (2) reschedules, provided with at least 24 hours' notice; beyond this, a session may be considered completed. No refunds are issued for missed appointments.
14. Client Unresponsiveness
If a Client is unresponsive for more than seven (7) consecutive calendar days, the Company may pause the Service. The Company is not responsible for delays resulting from Client inactivity, late document submission, or incomplete questionnaires — project timelines extend automatically to reflect such delays.
15. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We encourage Clients to contact our support team before initiating a payment dispute. If a Client files a chargeback, the Company may immediately suspend all Services, training access, and digital product access. If a dispute is resolved in the Company's favor, the Client remains responsible for outstanding balances, bank charges, and reasonable collection costs. The Company reserves the right to terminate Services permanently following fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity.
16. Client Code of Conduct
Clients agree to communicate respectfully and professionally with Company staff and trainers. Threats, harassment, hate speech, abusive language, or repeated disruptive conduct are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of Services without refund.
17. Fraud & Misrepresentation
The Company may immediately terminate Services without refund if it discovers forged documents, fabricated employment history or certifications, false references, identity fraud, immigration fraud, or payment fraud, and reserves the right to report suspected fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities where required by law.
18. Termination of Services
The Company may suspend or terminate Services if the Client breaches this Agreement, engages in fraud, fails to make required payments, provides false information, abuses Company personnel, or engages in illegal activity. Termination does not relieve the Client of outstanding payment obligations.
19. Intellectual Property & Limited License
All training programs, recorded classes, templates, course content, website content, branding, and other materials created or owned by the Company remain its exclusive intellectual property. Upon purchase, Clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use purchased materials solely for personal educational and professional use, and may not reproduce, sell, share, publish, or commercially exploit Company materials without prior written authorization. Unauthorized distribution may result in termination of access and legal action.
20. Confidentiality
The Company treats information shared by Clients as confidential and uses it solely to provide the requested Services, except where disclosure is necessary to perform those Services, required by law, or authorized by the Client. See our Privacy Policy for details on how personal data is collected, used, and protected. Clients who receive confidential Company materials (training methods, templates, pricing, internal documentation) agree not to disclose or redistribute them; this obligation survives the end of the engagement.
21. AI-Assisted Services
The Company may use artificial intelligence or automation tools to assist in drafting documents, generating suggestions, or improving formatting. All AI-assisted work is reviewed and customized by Company personnel before delivery where applicable. Clients remain responsible for reviewing all final documents, and the Company does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated suggestion.
22. Testimonials & Marketing
Clients may voluntarily provide testimonials or feedback. Where written permission is given, the Company may use testimonials for marketing purposes. By providing contact information, Clients consent to receive service-related communications (appointment reminders, invoices, updates); promotional communications require separate consent where required by law and may be opted out of at any time.
23. Third-Party Platforms
Our Services may reference or involve third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, ZipRecruiter, employer Applicant Tracking Systems). The Company has no control over these platforms' availability, algorithms, or decisions, and is not liable for their actions or omissions.
24. Website Use
Users of skillsbridgeadvisory.com agree to use it only for lawful purposes and must not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious software, scrape content, or use automated tools to collect data from the site. The Company may suspend or block users engaging in prohibited activity.
25. No Warranties
Except as expressly stated in this Agreement, Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that Services will meet every Client's expectations or achieve a specific outcome.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillsBridge Advisory LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services, job search or employment outcomes, visa or immigration matters, employer or recruiter actions, or technical interruptions. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the Client for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
27. Indemnification
The Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its representatives from claims arising from the Client's breach of this Agreement, inaccurate information provided by the Client, unauthorized use of Company materials, or violation of applicable law.
28. Force Majeure
The Company is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic, government action, internet or utility outages, or cybersecurity incidents. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of such an event.
29. General Legal Provisions
Assignment: Clients may not assign this Agreement without the Company's written consent; the Company may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect, and the invalid provision is interpreted or modified only as necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent. Where local or state law grants a Client rights greater than those set out in this Agreement, those legal rights govern to that extent.
Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
Entire Agreement; Modification: This Agreement is the complete agreement between the Client and the Company regarding the Services and supersedes prior discussions or marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company may update this Agreement to reflect changes in Services, law, or policy; material updates take effect upon posting to the website or written notice, and continued use of Services after an update constitutes acceptance.
No Partnership or Employment Relationship: Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchise relationship between the Company and the Client.
Electronic Communications & Signatures: Clients consent to receive notices and agreements electronically, and acknowledge that electronic acceptance (checkbox, "I Agree," completing payment, or continued use of Services) constitutes a binding acceptance of this Agreement to the extent permitted by law.
Survival: Payment obligations, intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law survive termination or completion of Services.
30. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a Client's local consumer-protection law mandates otherwise. We encourage Clients to contact our support team to resolve concerns informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
31. Contact & Acceptance
By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using any Service offered by SkillsBridge Advisory LLC, the Client acknowledges having read and understood this Agreement, having had the opportunity to ask questions before purchasing, and agrees to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. No verbal statement shall modify this Agreement unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of the Company.
